Numb est un des morceaux les plus connus du groupe. Son clip est un des plus forts car très réaliste : il présente une fille (interprétée par Briana Evigan) qui est exclue par les autres de son université et sa famille est athone. A la fin, elle cherche le soutien dans une église dans laquelle les membres du groupe jouaient. Certains indices semblent suggérer qu’elle a déjà essayé de se suicider (les marques sur les bras).

L’église est situé à Los Angeles alors que l’école se situe au Johannes Kepler’s Gymnasium à Prague.

A noter que Chester Bennington a les yeux fermés pendant tout le clip.
